My baby is 4 and half months and after bleeding for about 8 weeks after having him i went on the progesterone only pill but kept getting headaches so came off it in January. Stopped bleeding at end of January and haven’t had a period since.
Only had sex once and used a condom since having him so not sure what’s going on .
Done few tests for past 2 weeks all negative.
It’s 20 days since we last had sex.

You'll be irregular for a while. Don't worry.

Just get worried I would be pregnant again even though it’s unlikely

Have you actually had a period since you gave birth? I wasn't sure if you were just describing the lochia finishing.

Periods can take a while to come back, especially if you are breastfeeding? Mine took almost a year and a half, which is completely normal.

We used a spermicidal lubricant in combination with condoms which helped me feel a bit less worried about possible pregnancy (make sure you get one that's OK for use with condoms!). Also make sure you are using the condoms correctly (put one on as soon as it's erect, don't touch the penis and then go anywhere near yourself or if you want to then wash your hands in between first etc.).

I’m not sure if I have had a proper period as you don’t really know when you’ve just had a baby as your bleeding anyway and then I went on the pill when I was still bleeding but it didn’t agree with me. Not had a period since I finished that in January.

It sounds to me like your periods have not yet restarted. You could raise it with your health visitor if you're still worried?

Sometimes if you stop the pill mid pack it can take longer for your cycle to return to normal too.
