TMI Question about periods - is it just me...?

Is it just me who leaks on their period but then finds that either their tampon or pad is mostly dry?! It's almost like my vaginal opening is pointing sideways!

What brand of tampon? Some only expand in length whereas others also expand width ways. Tampax pearl expand in width but normal ones don't. Lillets also expand in width

Yes. Prolapse.

dripfeeder · 11/03/2021 12:32

Me too. Not prolapse but I just sit funny or the underwear isn't wide where the pad just creases up where it leaks then. I use Always Platinum long with 💧💧💧💧💧 and underwear where the pouch bit is wide.

Oh dear is prolapse bad??

I use tampax, but think I'm gonna invest in period pants

i have heavy bleeding but also get leaks and then half the tampon is dry. I use tampax and read about them not expanding sideways as much on another thread recently so I'm going to try lilets next month.
i haven't had kids so doubt / hope I don't have a prolapse. Also had recent gynae investigations so assume they wouldn't picked it up?

Try lillets rather than Tampax.

adagio · 11/03/2021 13:59

I switched from tampax to lil let and this problem went away. I actually switched as I refuse to buy plastic applicator and the shop only had cardboard app Lillets but they are much better so I’ve stayed.
