Not a baby name thread Grin

I'm doing low carb and intermittent fasting and this is the sweetener that is recommended.
It is vile,fucking vile.
Has anyone successfully trained themselves to like it in time?

Nope. It's the filthiest muck on the planet - even worse tasting that aspartame and that takes a bit of doing.
I use a product called Total Sweet which is Xylitol and genuinely does taste like sugar. It's not zero carb but it is very low GI and much sweeter than sugar so you need very little.
Just be aware if you have dogs that it is deadly poisonous to them - only dogs, not cats.

idontlikealdi · 11/03/2021 11:51

No. It's hideous.

MrsHusky · 11/03/2021 11:53

its ok, i've no issues with it.

Absolutely not. It makes me really nauseous and gives me the runs. I just binned a bottle I found in the back of the cupboard.

I have no problem with it, tastes vaguely vanilla-ry. I only really use it to sweeten a bit of Greek yoghurt or whatever from time to time though, and you don't need much either. So you just get the sweetness rather than a taste.

PaperMonster · 11/03/2021 12:27

I don’t use much of it, but never had a problem with the taste!
