I'm sure many households have also found school shoes are too small this week.

Obviously shoe shops can't open till 12th April but did you know you can pre-book a fitting from that date on the Clark's website?

I didn't want to fork out full price for a pair of shoes that might be wrong so my DC in cheap supermarket shoes for a month and I have booked fittings for 12th April. Just thought I would also pop over here and alert others that this is an option.

They also do online shoe fitting, you just need child, pen, paper and a soft tape measure. We did it a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty straightforward.

Tbh the cheap supermarket shoes I bought for my DS when he went back in September have lasted better than Clarks. I wish there were more shops that offered fittings.

We did that on the Startrite website back in the summer 42. Worked really well and I will probably do it again.
