Where are all the raspberries?

I like to top my porridge with fresh raspberries and not been able to get any for nearly two weeks. Been to three different shops, went on different days and at different times.

One shop doesn’t even have a space for them now. It’s like they don’t exist!!!

Consequence of Brexit? If so why them, why not other berries!

The things that irrationally annoy you when you have been locked down for a year......

It's March, they're way out of season so would have to be flown in quite a way. There may be extra delays that impact very perishable foods, suggest you try eating a bit more seasonally.

Sainsbury’s! Hundreds there earlier!

DH bought me lovely Spanish raspberries from Lidl at the weekend.

Brexit. Covid. Both.

Buy frozen for your porridge perhaps

AllTheGuac · 11/03/2021 00:19

Where are you shopping @Womencanlift? I see raspberries everywhere in stores but I’m in Scotland.

Womencanlift · 11/03/2021 00:48

Also in Scotland. Tesco, M&S and Aldi all empty. Never had this issue any other year so doubt it’s because it’s March

Anyway does look as if it may just be my area. Oh well will stick to others but definitely not using frozen - far too bitter

Struggling to find them too in my usual haunts but Morrisons usually a good bet.
Also hunting for leeks at the moment!
