Need wall colour ideas for my stark looking kitchen

I have had a new kitchen installed. Pale grey cupboards, white corian counter-tops, and a large island also topped with white corian. Floor is wooden and walls are white.

It looks bright, fresh, clean.... and also very stark and like I could perform autopsies in it.

I’ve put up a few bright pictures, but think my best option is to paint the walls. But what colour? More grey to match the cabinets? I’d prefer something pale-ish as not keen on the contrast of a bright or dark colour against the white counters. I just need something to break up all the white!

Lots of neutrals/wood/plants if you don't want something bright. Maybe something on the walls like farrow and ball setting plaster? Have a look at someone like simplyscandikatie on insta. She had a light kitchen with lots of white but it doesn't look stark.

Welcome, by Little Greene. Has 3 or 4 shades, a grey with a purpley tone - would depend on the grey of your cupboards. You might want a contrast?
