Hi all, first message! My eldest son is starting high school in September, and I'm already getting anxious. Knowing that children can call their peers on their appearance, I want to ensure my son has a good coat, shoes, trainers and bag as financially possible (hence why asking in March!). Therefore, I'm just curious what names are 'in' at the moment in High School. Thank you in Advance x

Hey,

not that it matters entirely - as you don't want your son to become one of those kids that looks down on another wearing some lonsdale trainers for example. Don't get me wrong I have the same worries as you thou my DD is starting secondary in sept and I'm dreading it!!
I personally think it's what you can afford as these brands are expensive, to some anyway. (Like myself 🤣) I buy her these but not all the time as I wouldn't be able to put food out for dinner lol my DD appreciates it and does try her hardest to look after her stuff and it lasts - most of the time ha..
but back to topic some brands i can think of that are "in" are The north face, Adidas, Nike, air force 1s,
air max 95', superdry, kickers, Clarks x

I think it’s really dependent on area. What does your son think?

Will he not be in uniform? How strict is the school? At my DS school no one was allowed trainers, hoodies, the teenagers never wore coats anyway and rucksacks were as roomy and practical as possible

ThePricklySheep · 10/03/2021 11:22

Yeah, check they wear coats at all!

North face, under armour, Zavetti Canada. Expensive but they are very popular
