I'm very excited by my new Eufy robovac arriving today... Younger me would not have been impressed!

JustAddCoffee91 · 09/03/2021 23:38

I say the same things my mum would say that would make me cringe 😂
My younger sister says I'm embarrassing, but there's me thinking I'm one of the cool kids!

My entire life tbh, I’m a mess thanks to lockdown!

stayathomer · 09/03/2021 23:42

Everything! I get excited over bin day, it being a good washing day, indoor exercise, a good cup of tea with a cookie, I'm now a cat owner, the fact I got married and had kids ...!

Probably the fact I would want to dye my hair any other colour than bleached blonde, I thought blonde was the holy grail of hair colour. Can't understand why I liked it cos I looked hideous Grin

Loving gardening. Watching wildlife shows. Ironing pillowcases. Younger me would have eye-rolled all of those!!

Dunairbeanat · 10/03/2021 02:17

Comfortable shoes Grin

Going out fairly regularly for a run, doing other exercises at home. Younger me took very little exercise and loathed the idea of running. Younger me did me no favours, though, as I put on a pound a year for 20+ years before finally accepting that if I would improve my chances of being active and healthy into old age if I took more exercise and tried to eat a bit less. The latter is work in progress (menopause doesn't help, sigh) but I take a lot more exercise now than I ever did in earlier years, barring the years of running around after toddlers. I feel the better for it, I'd say. Younger me could have done with forgetting about the negative effect of school PE lessons and spending less time slumping on the sofa.

Paying a stylist to colour my hair instead of doing it myself from a box.

TottiePlantagenet · 10/03/2021 09:47

Admitting that my mother was right, about most things.

spiderlight · 10/03/2021 10:57

Getting excited about a parcel arriving even though I know fine well that it's clothes pegs.

Sloggi Knickers
Slippers

Comfort and warmth people. COMFORT AND WARMTH!

Younger me would have fainted at my drawer of granny pants, and would have walked barefoot over broken glass rather than wear slippers.

Being excited by cleaning equipment!

Worknoplay · 10/03/2021 11:06

Re arranging the dishwasher. Saying Lovely all the time. Big pants. A hangover after two G&Ts. Freaking out because I have to speak to my teenage kids about condoms.
