Super boring techie question here:
I have Virgin media wifi but I'm using a TP link extender in my kitchen for my bedroom due to crap signal.
Trouble is, it's showing up on the menu bar without a padlock symbol - how do you hide it from others completely? Or add a password to it? I can see it in the list with all the neighbours network names and it's the only one without a padlock next to it.
I'm on a mac, by the way. Thanks!
