Has anyone ever tried freezing an anal tag?

I've got an awful skin tag on my bottom hole. I hate it. Feel dirty. I've stop having sex and won't get naked with husband anymore.
Doctor has said its cosmetic so won't remove.
Private surgery is £500!

Has anyone ever tried freezing an anal tag off?

You can tie floss or thin thread at the base of the skin tag and leave it in place until it falls off. I'm not sure how you'd freeze that particular area!

My GP froze mine off at the GP surgery!

Would have been 10 ish years ago. Took about 2 (incredibly painful) minutes but it was gone!

Ask another doctor! It’s not cosmetic if it’s in the way. It’s painful and you keep catching it, that’s right isn’t it?

I tightened sewing thread around one...incredibly fiddly but it worked.
