Talk to me about ipads

DP has spoken about getting an ipad, im thinking i might like to get him one for his birthday. I have no experience of apple products , used Microsoft and android phone.

They are £££ and i don't know where to start

Is it an iPad he wants specifically? There are Microsoft and Android tablets.

I have one for work. And a Samsung tablet for personal use. I wouldn't have an iPad given me. Overrated and overpriced.

Personally, I wouldn’t have anything but an apple product...androids blah!! It’s all personal preference at the end of the day and I wouldn’t judge anyone’s opinion on it. If he wants an iPad the latest iPad is cracking (I would bother with the iPad Air or beyond at this point). It also works with the pencil (and not just the Apple one but third party ones too).
