Trivia question on a game I’m playing and the question is on Hocus Pocus

“What animal did Zackery Binx turn into?”

It’s Thackery!!!! Thackery! It’s always been Thackery

I was irrationally annoyed the other week when I thought one of the answers in the BBC Quiz of the Week's News was wrong. I was halfway through writing them an email when it dawned on me I'd read it wrongly - (early morning brain fog) - thank goodness I didn't send it Blush

The boring details -

It was just after Meghan's pregnancy had been announced and the Q was something like 'Meghan's baby will be X in line to the throne and the Queen's Xth grandchild depending on when which other Royal baby arrives ...'

I read it that they were saying the other new arrival would affect Meghan's baby's place in the line of succession - which it wouldn't because Meghan's kids can only be displaced by those already above them - but the Q was actually asking which number of grandchild the new baby would be.

Yes - I'd virtually written it before I realised it was my mistake and deleted it! Grin

Irrational early morning brain.

It’s weird how the smallest things can make us so annoyed we actually start to do something about it

What irrationally annoys me is when people say literally when they mean figurativley. Yes I know it's hyperbole but still doesn't make sense to me. I literally died - erm, no you didn't. You literally didn't. You are literally right there in front of me Grin

I was in a whole-company quiz via zoom recently and I was the first person to get a question correct but they awarded the point to someone who beat me in time but got half the question wrong (which song and year, they got the year wrong) at that point I gave up playing. Grin
