Would you eat these (out of date)

Just found some vermicelli noodles shoved to the back of cuoboard

Best before April 2020. My bad. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Can I eat them? What's the worst that could happen?

I probably would tbh but then I tend not to go by best before/use by dates. I tend to go on how the food looks.

FelicityPike · 08/03/2021 17:29

Yeah I would. Dried food is usually fine.

minniemoll · 08/03/2021 17:32

I'd eat them if they were dated 2010....

LizzieSiddal · 08/03/2021 17:33

I would but I wouldn't give them to children or those who had any medical issues.

thriftyhen · 08/03/2021 17:33

Yes, of course!

I would, they will be fine

TierFourTears · 08/03/2021 17:38

Dried?? Yes, I'd cook and eat them.

Already hydrated I'd be more wary.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 08/03/2021 17:40

It's "best before" for dried products, not "use by".

They would be fine to give to anyone.

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 08/03/2021 17:42

Of course. It's only best before ...

LunaHeather · 08/03/2021 20:33

Update

Came out horrible

I did think they were a bit too brittle

Use your noodles before it's too late 😂
