Book Recommendations - book about Margaret Thatcher

I'm after buying DH a book about Thatcher.
From what I can see, books about her are quite partisan - either hate her or love her. I'm after something balanced though. Does anyone have any recommendations, please?

I cannot imagine any book about Margaret Thatcher being balanced. I think even my mum's cat at the time had an opinion about the then Prime Minister!

I'd recommend her autobiography, The Downing Street Years. As well as finding her recollections interesting, it was notable what was not included. If your DH remembers the time, he can have added interest trying to spot them.

I might have to get him an anti-Thatcher and a pro-Thatcher and tell him to find the balance himself.

Alas, DH was born in 1985 so doesn't remember the Thatcher years!
