Has anyone else had this? I was on prozac for years but it started giving me diarrhoea so it was swapped and my god for the last month all I do is sleep

I've been on Sertraline for years, never felt drowsy perhaps your dose needs lowering

BLTLover · 08/03/2021 13:32

I'm only on 25mg Blush

Two people I'm very close to are on sertraline and it does not have this effect on them - and their doses are much higher.
You may need to change medication.
Good luck Smile

...or you may still be adjusting, it takes a while.

Thanks. I think its messing with my blood sugars too as I'm craving so much crap!

Ah I found this with sertraline. I do think there is a link with blood sugar. It was only when I concertedly did healthy eating that I started to feel better on it. It did always affect my motivation, that was at 50mg though.

Bluekangaroo123 · 08/03/2021 20:24

I had this with Sertraline too, it took about 60 weeks for the tiredness to decrease. I was on 50mg though

Bluekangaroo123 · 08/03/2021 20:33

Sorry that was meant to say 6 weeks not 60 weeks- oops Grin

Worrywobbles · 08/03/2021 20:34

Have you tried cutting the tablet in half and having half everyday instead? Might help you tolerate it better :)

BLTLover · 09/03/2021 07:10

If I halved it more again I'd only be on 12.5mg which doesn't seem worth it.
