Is this a line or did I ruin the test?

Peed on it, nothing happened, stuck it in the loo bowl to see if it was salveagable. It very slowly (very slowly) did the thing and this is a very thin line.
Did I fuck up the test by sticking it in the loo?

You mean you stuck it in the water/urine in the bowl? If so then yes, you need a new test - that would be too diluted and possibly contaminated with cleaning products to get an accurate result, the line could be because you’ve “flooded” the test. It’s much easier to wee directly into a small pot or cup and then dip the test in that rather than trying to wee directly on it.

You quite possibly saturated it so now it's unclear if it's a true line or false positive. Can you get another test and try again?

Will try again when I next need a wee. But it's a definite pink line, and I thought that only reacted to hcg

It is a pink line but I think id want to be sure by doing the test properly, just to get rid of any doubt in my mind!

I've done that before and it was accurate. But really, unless you do another one, you won't know!

It's a waitrose cheapy and I know from past they fail to develop sometimes.
