Shampoo bars

Anyone found a shampoo bar that works well on long hair?

Not so much the shampoo bar but the conditioner after, I cannot brush may hair unless the ends have seen some conditioner but with all the brands out there I'm not sure what to try first?

Anyone have any experience with long knot prone hair?

ive just started using the gruum ones very good my hair is lovely and soft and they lather up well my hair is long and tangles easily and i just use the conditioner on the ends of my hair

I tend to put conditioner first and then use a shampoo bar. I should try the ones recommended here, I haven’t found a nice sudsy shampoo bar yet

I wouldn't recommend them at all. The build up made my hair horrible and sticky.

Friendly Soap Company have a fantastic conditioner bar. I apply it directly but you can also make it into a liquid and use a bottle. It's the best conditioner I've ever used.

Bain and Savon coconut milk shampoo is the best of all the shampoos I've tried. Make a lovely lather and rinses well.

I use Cole and Co but not regularly so I have to do a bicarbonate rinse first. I use exfoliating gloves to get a lot of suds from the bar, never just rub the bar over your hair. Although my hair was last cut in September 2019 it's not in that bad a condition.

I have thick curly hair. I really like the Gruum Shea butter shampoo bar and the nourishing conditioner bar.

Thanks all I will have a look into these brands!

Gruum are currently offering a free for postage (£3.95) conditioner bar.

Does anyone know where to buy plus fit school shorts? I've been looking since August & still no luck.

BooRadleyIsFree · 09/03/2021 10:52

Sorry place-fist time user! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I've used Gruum, I like them. Lush soak and float I like. I'm currently using a small company called the little blue hen. I've found them the best for me. Conditioner bars though, I can't find a good one.
