There's a village 5 minutes down the road from me in Hull called Sutton!

Perhaps he has taken a new first name and dropped his surname, Bunch, to make his way in life without hanging on coat tails of his American fam?

I used to work in Sutton in Ashfield in Nottinghamshire. It’s not a place to name yourself after.
