Pen Pals as an Adult?

When I was a child/ teen I had a few pen pals; I absolutely loved getting and writing letters!

I'd really like to find a new pen pal, has anyone done this in adulthood? How did you get started?

I used to do it with an Armed Forces initiative. I think it's now in e-bluey format.

Maybe if you say a bit more about you and what you would like out of it people can make more suggestions? What are you interests?

Maybe something I am interested in to.

There's a couple of websites where you can sign up (one looked less open to other interpretations beyond just writing to similar people than the other that I found). Recently made a profile for myself but not made contact with anyone yet.

I too have always loved writing letters and have a penpal the past 11 years. There is a good website called Maartens snail mail penpals where the majority of people are looking for pen and paper penpals. Also I'm sure lots of us on here would be interested aswell. What are some of your Interests?
