Moussaka

Oooh there is an amazing ottalenghi recipe. Baked aubergine with lamb mince and pine nuts. It’s either in simple or Jerusalem. Think it’s simple.

I adore Mousaka so would go with that, it doesn't have to be authentic, you could add pasta in and have it sort of lamb lasagne

I made some pasta sauce to go with lamb meatball last week and added sweet and hot paprika and cinnamon to the standard tomato sauce. It goes well with lamb

@JesusInTheCabbageVan I made that a while ago, liked it and it was better the next day...but didn’t love it. Think I need to give it another go.

Lamb and Aubergine lasagne (the pasta sheets are replaced with aubergine slices) its lovely.

Tom Kerridge has a recipe for Lamb ragu, courgette spaghetti, feta and mint which takes a good while to cook but is absolutely gorgeous

Kofta kebabs with yoghurt and salad and flatbreads. Heaven on a plate!

I made this earlier in the week - very nice. I added some grated cheddar and mozarella for the last 5/10 minutes of baking

Lasagne
All tasty with lamb mince

Spag bol

Bobotie

My Turkish friend taught me this one:

One onion
Garlic
Can chopped tomatoes
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp mint
500g lamb mince
1 can chickpeas

Fry off onion and garlic
Add spices and fry until aromatic
Fry lamb mince
Add chopped toms and some water/stock
Add mint
Simmer for 20 mins
Add in chickpeas and warm through.

I serve with bulgur wheat
