This isn't a royal family bashing thread..just interested to know how people would vote once the Queen has died and the was a vote on whether to keep the royal family or not.. a simple yes ( to keep ) or no.

Argh. One word? Honestly don't know. Yes, I get that it's not fair that it's inherited, but life isn't fair and birth is very unequal. Being born royal would come with advantages as well as disadvantages, same as being born the child of an heiress in an old money family (I'd rather come from old money without the royalty tag, given the choice).

That said, I don't think funding should extend beyond a certain point and their land and property ought to be scaled back. The headline royals do a fair bit, I grant you, but where do the likes of Princess Eugenie fit in?
