No I'd vote that now while the queen's alive - surely either you believe a monarchy is a good thing or you don't. The whole point of it is that you don't get a say in who is the monarch, good or bad.

If you’re in favour of a hereditary monarchy, then you’re in favour of a system where blood and primogeniture dictates the sovereign, whether that’s a dutiful type with an eternal joyless handbag, a Nazi sympathiser, a bored elderly man who’s spent his seventy-odd years waiting trying to influence government policy etc etc.
