This isn't a royal family bashing thread..just interested to know how people would vote once the Queen has died and the was a vote on whether to keep the royal family or not.. a simple yes ( to keep ) or no.

Get rid of the bloated House of Lords too. It's an affront to tax payers. Paying 800+ £3-5,000 a month to do sweet fa.

No but only if replaced as pp has said by elected president style head of state. Trump has proved to me the necessity of this role in a democracy.

I disagree about getting rid of house of Lords. A second chamber is important. Probably needs reform though.
