What do I need/want for my 30th?

Just that really...

What would you ask for or what did you get that you love/could not live without?

I keep getting asked but I have no idea!

Thanks 😊

I got some gorgeous perfume (Chanel Les Exclusifs Sycomore) that I would never buy myself as v spendy! I still have half a bottle now (am 32!)

And a KitchenAid, but I am a chef so made sense. But pointless if you don’t wear perfume/cook a lot!

I have got a weekend city break for my 30th - in the bank until lockdown is over. There was nothing physical I could think of either, and we could all do with a break when this is over.

What is your life like at 30?
Do you time to ask for a contribution to starting a new hobby you always wanted to do for example?
Painting, piano lessons, creative writing course, jewelry making course, horse riding lessons etc.
Are you exhausted and a night with someone who makes you laugh in an expensive spa you would never normally go to is just what you need?
Are you craving a night out dancing and would love a night/weekend away on a city break when it's possible?
Do you spend 30 minutes a day blow drying your hair and a Parlux/Dyson would half that time?
Or you never have the money for a hairdresser so would like to put aside the cash for a well recommended hairdressers appointment when lockdown lifts?
I got a fancy coffee machine for my recent 40th, would you like something like that?

New watch? Expensive handbag? Spa weekend?

I don't know, I'm a decade older and facing the same.

For me I'm a SAHM with three kids who will be 6, 2 and 2. Two years ago it would have been a weekend away but not going to happen with 3 kids. Lockdown, home schooling and lots of kids I'd just kill for a few hours alone 🤣 so I'll be looking for theatre tickets and I'll extend it to dinner alone.

Jewelry? Two young kids so anything they can grab and break isn't great but is there a statement piece you'd like?

Thank you for your suggestions everyone!

@SleepingStandingUp I am in the same position being a SAHM to DS3 and DD 6 months. So I'd be pretty chuffed with anything as mundane as an uninterrupted nap/shower/meal 😂

A spa day would be amazing! 😍 so hopefully this will be possible at some point this year!
I wasn't sure if anywhere was accepting bookings yet but maybe they are selling vouchers so I can look into it.

The first thing I want when the world is even vaguely normal is to book a table on a restaurant. For 1. With a book. And no sharing / touching.

A really nice silk dressing gown

Can I follow? I have a 0 birthday in a couple of weeks, so following for ideas.
