The hen do thread and having all this time in lockdown has made me realise how much I don't like hen dos. I can’t put my finger on why exactly. I like socialising but the group dynamics of a hen put me on edge, I feel like an out of place teenager at them even though I love parties and pubs.
One hen is UK based and the other is abroad, both long weekends. I’m considering asking both brides to do something in a small group or one on one instead. I could manage one night but two long weekends feels too much especially knowing some of the BMs involved. If you were the bride would you be upset at my suggestion of doing something separately?
