Made my day. Hats of to the enforcement officer. A job well done.

You're easily pleased then

Changemaname1 · 05/03/2021 19:20

You are joking of course ... ??

SunsetBeetch · 05/03/2021 19:21

Oh wow.

(Is it not obvious that the OP is being sarcastic?!l

Though I admit I would find it highly amusing if the same approach were regularly applied to smokers deliberately dropping their paraphernalia everywhere...

GBand · 05/03/2021 19:24

There has to be more to this story. I just cannot believe it.

I'm all for that as you see the rubbish on the roads, cast aside without a thought, cast aside from vehicles and one lit end dropped in my fiiends. car and burnt her leg.

Generally, those that litter are selfish people (not referring to this person)

My hubby told a a low life to pick up his bag of finished fast food dumped outside our drive, the low life was not to happy and got out of the old banger and squared up to hubby and he was made to pick it up.

I would normally agree with a quote like yours but I'm sure she saw it hence no reference to not seeing the item on the floor.

Where does the saying "litter louts" comes from.

I am disappointed. This did not make my day.

Sigh

possibly if they threw away their fast food bag, cig ends and other stuff and were caught out - hopefully that would make your day.

TBH, I m considering doing a sting as an enforcement officer and will take no prisoners. I bet you I could easily clean up the act where ever I operated. TBH, I may even do enforcement as a volunteer I'll ask the council on Monday.

This did not make my day. In fact I’d say it has reduced it by 3%.

Tulipsareblooming · 05/03/2021 20:10

I wasted some of my life reading this

TheCanyon · 05/03/2021 20:16

Didn't particularly make my day either but yes people who litter, even with food should absolutely be fined. If you can't see what your dc is doing, perhaps stick to the shop alone recommendation and leave them at home with the unemployed dad...

The bit that got me was that she picked up two crackers from the germ ridden trolley and put them back in the pack.

Theunamedcat · 05/03/2021 20:18

So they have fined people for flicking cigarette ash and pouring tea on the ground? They were bought in to deal with real flytipping but instead do this?

CantBeAssed · 05/03/2021 20:30

Well that title certain goes under "false advertising"....
Why on earth would this make your dayConfused...
Fs now iv wasted more of my life posting....aaarggh

MrBullinaChinaShop · 05/03/2021 20:34

Fucking jobsworths. A cracker dropped by a toddler.
This would only ever make my day if my day had been the shittest day known to man. Even then I’m not sure it would have an impact.
