Shark cordless vacuums... which model?

Boring I know, but my dyson has broken down for the 8th time in 5 years (4 new motors, 2 new powered brush bars and a new circuit board thingy fitted under warranty so far!). Warranty runs out in a few months, so next time it inevitably breaks down, it’s going in the bin!

I’m looking at shark - I want cordless and anti hair wrap and it’ll be the main vacuum for a 3 bed semi. There seems to be two different styles, so just wondering if there’s any benefits of one over the other from people that have either one. I’ve attached pictures - one a chunkier looking machine and one which looks more like the dyson cordless and folds in the middle.

Any pros and cons? Thanks :)

We have the one on the left (folding one) and I love it (having previously had an upright Dyson rollerball which I HATED). We live in a fairly big 3 bed flat and it does the trick nicely. I use the Dyson V10 at work a fair bit (nanny) and I definitely prefer the shark. Esp the anti-hair wrap feature which was a big problem with our Dyson.

Thanks, I think that’s the one I’m leaning towards.

I’ve read reviews that they clog up and need frequent cleaning which has put me off.

I have the one on the left, its brilliant! I hated my old Dyson. So far, mine hasn't clogged up at all. Its fab for cleaning under the sofas without moving them, a push of a button and it bends in the middle, its easy to use on both carpets and wooden floors you just flick a switch, no messing around.

It really can’t be any worse than my Dyson! I have to unclog it of my hair after pretty much every use and it’s broken down so many times. Hate the damn thing!

The only time we had to unclog ours was when DH hoovered up 7 million pine needles. The Dyson I have to unclog virtually every time I use it.

I recently bought a folding cordless shark (with headlights!!!) And loved it, until it lost suction for no traceable reason. I took it back and will be purchasing a dyson when they're back in stock.

I regularly used to kill Dysons. I have a corded Shark liftaway which I love but I fancied a cordless one and bought the one on the left. I absolutely love it. It is just as good as the corded one and so easy to use. Battery seems to last ages too!

I have the Shark corded stick with anti hair wrap, it copes happily with my long hair plus two hairy hounds. I've had it a year and a half and have only unclipped the roller once to clean out behind it, it's never clogged. The difference between it and the previous Miele Cat & Dog is amazing, I wouldn't have anything else now.
