Weirdly, their toiletries are amazing just now and there's one called something like citrus and sea salt that's very light. Also a marshmallow one.
They have chocolate orange lip scrub too.

Kenzo flower?

His old is she? For a teen I think Marc Jacobs Daisy or Kenzo flower are nice, they smell very similar to me.

Lancôme O de Lancome is awesome. I've had so many compliments whilst wearing it. It's fresh smell that has citrusy essence. It's very light and fresh smelling. I shall get myself another bottle soon.

Bobbi Brown Beach every time!

It has to be Chanel Chance...'A floral fragrance that intertwines Pink Pepper, Jasmine and Amber Patchouli. Laced with White Musks and Vanilla', it's my 'go to' perfume every time. Nice and light and great for day or evening. Not the cheapest perfume, but the best! (you can buy it at Boots amongst other shops)

Another vote for CK One. I love it!

Chanel chance Eau de tendre or Eau Fraiche

Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue. I was bought this in my 20s, loved it. Any of the above sound good.

Elizabeth Arden Sunflower is another classic although its probably not as fashionable as some of the above.

My DD loves Jo Malone Pear & Freesia - it’s very light and when she is a bit older she can layer it with something a bit more grown up like pomegranate noir?

I don't know if my nose is super sensitive (I don't think so) but how can you buy a perfume without smelling it just based on someone else likig it?

I like so few perfumes and read these threads for suggestions. In pre covid times I would have gone to the perfume counter for a tester and found I didn't like the smell at all.

It can't possibly be just me, I would never buy perfume for anyone unless they said which one they liked and hate anyone buying it for me as I know it will sit unopened reminding me that someone has wasted their money

CkIn2U Her is popular among my Dd's friends and it smells lovely and fresh, tempted to get it myself!

All the Chanel Chances, Cacharel Noa, My Burberry, Kenzo Flowers, Prada Infusions d"Iris, Davidoff Clear Water.

I agree Light Blue is a safe choice as a crowd pleaser. One you can blind buy safely enough. A good budget choice is Next summer sun which is I think a nicer version of estee lauder’s Bronze Goddess. Next Paradise (flowery) and Just Pink also get a lot of love on here.
