Anyone's DH had a vasectomy lately?

Wondering if they're being done at the moment (NHS) and if so what the wait was please?

I think you'll get better advice if you say which NHS hospital. I say this because the hospital I'm waiting for surgery at is not doing anything but emergency surgery until further notice.

My dh is having one privately next week. We were told by our GP they are not done on the nhs anymore, but I’m now wondering if it’s because of our trust.

My DP had one before Christmas but was at a private clinic. NHS wait was several months and nearest place to have it done 40 miles away so just easier to go private.

For those that have gone private, how much did it cost.
Dh has been referred and was told wait time was about 6-8weeks on nhs.

DP paid a little over £1,000. We’d been told the nhs had stopped doing them due to covid though and he’d have probably around a 6 month wait. Was worth paying to have it done without waiting.

In Ireland, last week. €500 in a gp surgery
