I can. All states and can point to them on a map.

I could do about 30

I can too, but it would take me ages to remember them all. I'd struggle a bit to place all of them on a map though.

Bonus two: DC and Puerto Rico?

I can, but then I'm American. There are no bonus states, I assume you mean US Territories? I don't know all of those (PR and USVI is all I know), but think there are more than 2.

But they aren't bonus states, they are actual states and make up two of the fifty.

Aaargh..... now wtf is the 50th???

DH and I once sat in a cafe and tried this challenge, we were stuck on the 50th for about an hour before we gave in and googled it. Florida we forgot. Unbelievable.

I'm not going to cheat and Google it, I'll come back and post again if I remember which one I'm missing.

I lived in the US for a few years as a child, and had to learn the states and their capitals in my last year. I got to the Ns, and it's now a bit of a party trick of mine to recite them off alphabetically. Until I get to the Ns . Can't remember many of the capitals though.

I can. But only because I had to teach '50 states that rhyme' as a song to my year 3 children as a challenge a few years ago and it's stuck! I can also only name them if I sing them

I couldn't! But then, I couldn't even reliably make or locate some counties in England, never mind the UK.
Geography is clearly not my strong point, and luckily I don't need it for my work!

I used that and got 43. Missed Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maryland in the northeast. Missed the Carolinas, I knew there was North and South something there between Georgia and Virginia but I just could not remember what. And missed Minnesota (why do so many states start with Mi!) and Nebraska.

I can do it. I spend a LOT of time on Sporcle. I'm pretty good on state capitals too, but I never remember them all.

I can name them all alphabetically but I can't point them out on a map.
