I have been without a phone for three months because I dropped mine and I had to save for a new one.
I decided on a galaxy s20, they do a 4g version and a 5g version, the 5g version is £100 dearer so I went for the 4g version as that was all I could afford.
Got the phone this morning and opened it to see it was the 5g version they have sent to me, Which means they are now out of pocket by £100.
I contacted them to let them know what has happened but they have not replied yet.
What is likely to happen here? I have opened the box and I am happy to keep the phone and pay the difference, the only problem is I couldn't afford to give them the extra £100 until I get paid on the 17th, Which is why I went for the cheaper option in the first place.
Are they likely to ask for the money or take the phone back and send what I ordered? No point setting it all up etc if it has to go back and never happened before so not sure what will happen?
