His face is pretty sun and wind damaged and it looks like he's popped a filter on.

Didn't some other bloke do that a couple of days ago? Are men going to be filtering their faces for calls now?

That sounds plausible- his cheeks, chin and forehead looked sort of blurry and smoothed out.
I will leave him alone and return my pants to the un-hoiked position Grin

Something similar happened with Hugh Bonneville recently. A very similar look to Bear. All smoothed out. I use MS Teams all day every day and the backgrounds I put on definitely make me look different.

I thought that had been done to Ant and Dec on their show.

There was a black and white intro bit and I thought "wow they have aged!" Then the show proper started and I thought they looked the same as ever. Then I noticed a blurriness, it was most obvious on the foreheads.

I'm not the OP, but, if I wanted to ask something about something I was watching on TV, the answer would be
a) the camera on my phone is rubbish and wouldn't pick up that level of detail, taking a photo of the TV
then
b) I don't happen to have a cable near me to upload that photo (which wouldn't tell you anything - see point a - onto my laptop, which I am MNing on
c) I don't know how to upload photos onto MN anyway.

So I guess any of the above, or all of the above, or a combination of the above might be OP's reason too.
