Is this still being given to pupils who pass core subjects and a language?

It isn't awarded to pupils, it's a measure for schools in the performance tables. DfE are still highly keen on schools offering a broad curriculum, and supposedly this demonstrates that...which is why no arts subjects count towards it, naturally.

The measure is named EBacc in the performance tables.
