is there any way of searching for a video that might have been uploaded if I roughly know the time it was taken?

Or where do teenagers post stuff they've recorded? Or are they likely to share it amongst themselves rather than post videos?

Videos uploaded will all be on the profile that uploaded them. Click the "me" button in the bottom right

If you're asking what a random teen has done with a random video I don't think anyone here will be able to tell you!

So unless I know the profile name of the person who uploaded, I won't be able to see anything?

If I know a video was taken around 1700 last night, I wouldn't be able to find it?

No you'd need to know the user id

Without the account that uploaded it there is very little you can do.

Hi, OP. No it doesn't work like that, unless you know the name of the account it would be pretty impossible. The "for you page" videos on the main page are totally random with date times etc. Can be from months ago it's just what is relevant from the videos you've been watching.

Hope this helps Smile

On tiktok, I. Expect millions of videos were uploaded around 5pm last night.

As far as I know you can't search by time, just profile name & whatever they would have hashtagged it with

Thank you. I've never looked at Tiktok before (can you tell?!) and thought I might be overlooking the obvious.

You might be, you haven't really given much information for anyone to help tbh.

Is it like Facebook or Instagram where you have to be friends/follow someone to see their content, or is it like Youtube where you can watch anything?

HeartOfInk · 02/03/2021 11:59

Oh that sounds creepy! So you can’t choose what you watch? And then if you watch what it suggests, it shows more of the same?

OP posts:
PandemicPalava · 02/03/2021 12:04

Yes exactly that, unless you know the user you want to watch
