Usually cook most nights but have a run of work coming up and need some really easy meals that involve little to no cooking. Don't like pizza, happy to have a few ready meals but don't love them.

Any suggestions that are easy to put together and would feed 2 adults, 2 kids and a 1 yo?

If you have a slow cooker, a quick meal for us would be 2 racks of ribs from Morrison's or the butchers put on in the morning before work with a bbq sauce (you could buy a jar). Then when you get home in the evening all you have to do is serve them with coleslaw, a bag of prepared salad and some boiled corn on the cob or frozen sweet corn. So tasty and the ribs literally fall off the bone.

The kids could have cold meat instead of the ribs.

Pasta with pesto and some cooked chicken/spinach
Oven baked fish with veg/wedges
Tray bakes (chicken thighs, whatever seasoning you fancy, chucked on a tray with mixed peppers/red onion/new potatoes/olive oil, can sub the chicken with salmon or sausages)

Something I rely on when I'm short of time is DIY 'wraps'. Warm up some falafel, chicken nuggets /goujons, fish fingers or whatever and plonk on the table with salad, sauces and a pile of flour tortillas.

Thanks all - pretty much all the suggestions have made it into the basket!
