It does look proxy.

Are they all over? They usually spread pretty quickly. Have any developed blisters yet?

MrsTophamHat · 28/02/2021 16:16

No blisters, but yes, theyre on both shoulders, chest and tummy. Theyre sort of in clusters which made me hope it might be bites.

Any signs of covid? Chickenpox/bites/hives rash could be a sign of it. covid.joinzoe.com/us-post/skin-rash-covid

noname55 · 28/02/2021 16:28

Hmmmm I can't tell. Chickenpox here were more like little blisters.

onlyreadingneverposting8 · 28/02/2021 16:29

Does NOT look like chicken pox to me - chicken pox always has blisters. Either bites or give abs given the current situation I would question covid too.

raspberryk · 28/02/2021 16:31

Bites, look too big for pox

Hmm, i hadn't heard if those symptoms. No other symptoms at all. No temp and seems absolutely fine, he has been helping in the garden all afternoon.

If he's been in the garden it could well be a contact allergy. My daughter had something similar to this, a Facebook group said it was Chickenpox, but my GP said it was an allergy and the allergy had a systemic reaction, which is why she had them all over.... she went on to develop Chickenpox several months later, and there was no doubt when she did. She'd been outside at school (and covered) when she had the allergy.

Have a Google of this pitiriasis rosada - my son has just had it, then I found a friend had it recently, and then another boy I know.....weird as I had never heard of it. My son did have one large patch first....

saffire · 28/02/2021 16:58

Look more like bites than little pox blisters. Anyway give them some antihistamines if they are itching.

@MrsTophamHat How are things looking today?
