Would you recommend it? If so, what make is it?

What happens if you spill something?!

Yes.
Bora.
It’s easy to clean.

Brogues · 28/02/2021 15:49

Yes, a Bora. I’ve dropped the odd pea in it but the top comes off so you can fish them out. The hob safety features means it makes an incredible noise if you boil over a pan (or when washing it even when it’s off).

Wow, I like the sound of this, not heard of these and planning new kitchen for later this year/early next year so will investigate...

Thanks, how do you reckon it compares to an overhead extractor?

OP posts:

Just the same as an overhead for me - suppose it depends on what you cook? Watching the steam being pulled down is fun though.

Brogues · 28/02/2021 21:49

Oh it takes up a lot of space under the cabinet so that may be something to think about.

nimbuscloud · 28/02/2021 21:55

I’ve just measured mine. It’s 76cm wide and about 20cm deep.

But have a clean line of units above it which is great

CherryPicker1 · 28/02/2021 22:02

Yes. Bora. Decision was made because the hob is in an island unit. No obvious place for an overhead extractor. I like it. Keeps the lines clean.
