So I want to start using the Curly Girl method but I am so confused.

Can someone explain it to me in a nice simple way! There seem to be so many products needed and I just can't get my head around it. Can it be done simply?

You need a cheap, silicone free conditioner. I use Sainsbury's own apple conditioner. Then you need either a gel or mousse. I like eco gel as it gives me a good hold.
Wash your hair with the conditioner, really scrub your scalp. Put plenty in. Scrunch it in until it's squishy. Rinse. I like to put gel in when my hair is really wet. Scrunch it with an old T-shirt and either diffuse on cold or leave to dry. My hair really thick so I prefer to diffuse, especially in this weather.
