Newbie gardener here - can you suggest what I can plant in pots in March?

Exactly that - looking to plant but no idea where to start? I'd love some suggestions.

Any herbs, you can start growing most veggies from seed indoors but shouldn't really go out side until after the last winter frost Mayish. Flowers will be bulbs, primroses,pansies til Summer when I like hostas, poppies, lavender, peonies, roses, lupins... checkout Monty Don ...he has great advice all year round...
