Settle an argument please, is this a blue tit or a great ti

DH and I are clearly spending far too much time together as we almost had a row about this but I've decided to bring it to you great people of mumsnet. I think it's a blue tit - he insists it's a great tit. Personally I think he's being a massive tit and that I'm right but I'm willing to be corrected. (I'm totally not).

So which is it MNetters?

It's hard to tell from the photo- but the head appears darker than I'd expect for a blue tit.

Blue tits have an eye stripe and a blue cap, whereas on great tits the cap is black and there’s no eye stripe, the cap goes down to the eyes.

Ahh yes you're right- I'm happy to be corrected, it's definitely a blue tit.

We get loads of both, definitely looks like a blue tit to me due to size and colouring.

It's harder to tell the difference between a great fit and a coal tit. I think one's bigger than the other
