What do you do to calm yourself down?

Basically a seller on eBay has scammed me out of a fair bit of money. eBay apparently cannot do anything about it.
I need to let it go and accept I've been robbed of money and called a liar.

Please can you share tips on what you do to calm down when your really frustrated.

Sorry that's really frustrating.
I could say some deep breathing, try some mindful meditation and go for a drive or a walk just to get a change of scenery. That has worked for me but... the best release I ever had was when I had some old chipped plates and mugs left aside to throw away. I thought fuck it, I was home alone so I smashed every single one of them on the patio. I was so angry when a loved one passed away and it was a great release. Pain in the backside cleaning up but still would recommend.

Plate smashing does sound like a great idea. Shame I don't have any spare at the moment.

That sounds really frustrating. For me it helps to think of this kind of thing as a trade off for not having something worse happening to me. We can’t always be lucky, so I’d rather have an incident of bad luck over losing money than an incident of bad luck over health, etc.

If it's a seller can you take it up with PayPal or credit card to salvage your money?

That is a good way of thinking.

I don't think I can. To be honest the amount of stress it's caused I just want it to be left now and try to get over it.

I put them on my mental list of places I’m going to set fire to....

Yes, I can understand that. Sorry you've gone through this. Flowers
