I'm good, thanks for asking. I'm in Wales so we don't have all the pupils back yet, Next week will be the real test when KS2 come back.

This week is all about trying rewriting timetables to fit our new corona virus guidelines and trying to get budgets to balance before the end of the school year!

There's that song, George Michael's "I just want you to love me" and more recently three by Darren Hayes and a few others that have detailed my life. It wasn't a good childhood and into my 40s my mental health is my greatest battle. Sorry for oversharing

I always wanted to go into teaching, one teacher really inspired me, but see above for why I didn't... I never really appreciated how much you invest of yourselves while my children went through school (my son is Welsh!). I think you're amazing people. Thank you for everything you do in such a demanding role.

@WhipperSnapperSteve - I'm sorry to hear that. You obviously have great self awareness despite all the hardship. I had no reason to be angst ridden apart from a naturally introvert personality and normal teenage moodiness.

Teaching is draining and whilst I love it if I had my time again I'd do something different as it does dominate my life. Or perhaps I'd do it again but stay in the classroom as that's the good bit.
