Trustpilot reviews, a negative one is very hard work.

I've been with them for three years.
I've left close to a hundred positive, 5 star reviews.
A couple of weeks ago as a last resort I left a 1 star review.
The organsation, company I was unhappy with got on the case ASAP.

I had my review flagged 3 times. Every time I sent more info, my review appeared and then re-flagged.

It had been up for 6/7 days since last flag and now reflagged ie removed from online but again a couple of days ago but not deleted.

I am going to give up. This time they have not asked for any more info.

I did contact them a couple of days ago but not heard since

I've though hard and left honest and fair comments, with an update.

We had a new roof and it came with a guarantee. The roof was completed about 18 months ago, now leaked for the third time. They do not return phone calls or Emails. So Asked them to fix with 21 days but noting so I left the review.

I've had to get it looked at at my own cost

Has anyone else left a company, organisation a 1 start review and then had to give up and remove or not bother?

Trustpilot online staff are there to help but is it worth the stress/effort?

What would you do? I feel sick, hurt, lied about, etc etc. My review is simple and I've actually not mentioned the threats on the phone that my OH got as we have no independent witness.

I left a couple recently.
One - the chief exec called me, discussed some of the issues, it was a new start up, and once one thing hadn't gone right I had been a bit impatient. There wasn't any pressure, but I revised the review to 3*, and removed harsher comments.

The other, the vendor denied I was a customer. Trust pilot removed the review and contacted me. I supplied the order details and they reinstated the review.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 26/02/2021 19:37

forgot, like you I have been leaving reviews for years, mostly positive.

Hi EveryDayIsDuvetDay
Thank you.
Like you I've supplied evidence EG the reciept and the gurantee and that we had been in contact within the rules of 12 months, well within the rules.

They've not got back to me yet to ask for more information.
However, they did send me an email around the time it was reflagged
asking me to contact the company ut it was my choice.

The review is not 100% accurate as I've not been honest about how nasty they've been to me and especially my husband as I did not want to wind them up too much. It was a last resort measure.

They left my a stroppy message on my phone last week saying that they get my review removed.

It is honest, and above board. There are only so many emails, phone calls you can make and digest empty promises. waiting 30 days between appointments for a leaking roof that is damaging our child's bedroom is not acceptable. However, I am anxious, but done nothing wrong and feel as though they've bullied, harassed us into leaving the comment off air.

Btw, no matter if I recover the costs or they come out, i will leabe the 1 star review but I would update if they easily offered a refund or act as they should but the 1 star will stay due to the stress, strain, abuse, worry etc as there is absolutely not need for it.

Btw, can we edit our post and if so how, please?

to edit, you log in to your account, and select "your reviews" they all have the option to edit, delete or share.
I just updated one, as although they responded eventually and refunded, when I left the original review I moaned about the lack of response.

Looking at past reviews made me realise I'm not as magnanimous with the 5* reviews as I thought - or I was just particularly grumpy and doing a lot of online shopping in December Hmm
