Length of monthly cycle changing

I thought I'd throw it out as a question and experience sharing really before I decide whether to see a GP.

Late 30s, two kids age 9&7 and over the past year my cycle has got shorter. It was always around 32/33 days but now it's 26/27 days or slightly more.

I can't decide if I am concerned about it in particular or if I'm just heading towards the change or something..

Anyone got experience?

Same here! Same age too, was always pretty much 28 days though but now 23-26. Odd isn't it but I assumed the body wants to ovulate more before I'm too old lol.

Same, same age-ish too, happened after my second. Went from about 28-29 to 24

Mine used to be every 6 weeks...then the sodding thing decided that 28 days was better! It happened in my mid 30s and when I mentioned it in an appointment about something else the GP said it was perfectly normal and I may experience more changes as I get older.

I was regular as clockwork at 28 days until I hit late 30s and it started getting shorter. Early 50s now and it's every 21 days Sad

Well that's reassuring it's normal. thanks for commenting. Weird how the body works isn't it.

Mine were 33-35+ in my 20's and 30's and have decreased over my 40"s to around 23 days.

I assuming its as your body realises it is running out of time to release your eggs, so has to do it quicker.

Oh joy!

Same here too. I was about 32 days in my early 30s, 28 days now I'm 49.
