Things that you are looking forward too

Every year we go and see the sea when we can, normally the first fine weekend in Feb or March. It's two hours away so we haven't been yet but I'm really looking forward to it.
What simple things are you looking forward too?

Going back to work. So excited that we have a date now.

I'm still waiting for the go back to the office date, I started a new job during lockdown so I haven't met my colleagues yet!

Getting married!

Seeing my adult son again (severely disabled in residential care).

Just being in the same room as other people. Chilling, chatting, being together. Nice coffee, booze and great food all very welcome but optional extras

DD getting better, so we can do 'normal' things again if allowed.
At the moment I can't even sit on a park bench if she is with me.

I'm looking forward to my Mum cooking a Sunday dinner for us all again!

I’m 38+4 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I can’t wait to be able to meet people for walks with baby in pram/sling with some nicer weather... and hopefully some baby groups starting up again!

Looking forward to returning to work for my normal hours next week.

That must be so hard for you. Makes so much else sound trivial in comparison. I hope it will be soon

Sitting in a coffee shop with friends having a natter over an obscenely large slice of cake. LOL or hosting a BBQ in my garden with a bunch of mates.

My daughter works in a pub and I've had the lovely grandchild every weekend for years. This year has been so hard I've barely seen her

Cycling to the pub in the next village with friends one fine weekend and sitting in the pub garden with a drink, listening to other people around me, chatting and laughing. And not a mask in sight.
