I want to buy DH a DVD of a TV show he remembers fondly from his youth which costs £6.99, and a jigsaw for DMIL which has just come back into stock and costs £12.99.

Does anyone please have a suggestion for something that’s useful or delicious, really cheap and will contribute to the 20 quid limit for free Amazon supersaver delivery?

Do you need sellotape or pens or anything like that?

eBay? What's the dvd? We've loads in the loft. If it's there you can have it

Top suggestion is an 8p SIM.

ExcusesAndAccusations · 25/02/2021 21:48

Thanks all, spicy tempura seaweed puffs won the day (I have a thing for snacking seaweed).

The DVD was Brond, of which nobody has ever heard, starting a very young John Hannah.

Huh. It used to be really good, but now I click through on the suggestions, none of them are actually available at the price it says. Sorry Blush

ExcusesAndAccusations · 25/02/2021 21:51

I ordered before I saw your clever link Crayon, I tried another version of the same thing which was linked on MSW but it was v unhelpful.

Ah - it seems like your link is also flawed Crayons, I didn’t actually click through any of the links,

Is anyone selling the dvd at slightly higher price?

CrayonInThreeBits · 25/02/2021 22:37

Sorry for the crappy recommendation! I think Amazon change how their website works every so often, and you have to find a new site that pulls down the prices in a different way — there's a few out there but that's the one I used to use (and it used to be good Sad)

Saltnsauceta · 25/02/2021 22:46

I bought a sim card once for 2p. It felt a waste of the sim but it did the job.

Saltnsauceta · 25/02/2021 22:48

Sorry, meant to say it was giffgaff but it appears to be 49p now. Still not too bad 🤷🏼‍♀️

The clothes pin type things you can use to close food packages. I got some and they are really handy.
