You your ever experience - the more you help somebody, the less they appreciate you.

I don't feel like expanding on that but this is what I am experiencing.

Yes definitely! Not everyone but enough people take it for granted. The more A thing is in supply, the less it becomes coveted or treasured...

If you feel someone is becoming dependant on you, or demanding too much of your time and attention, then withdraw. You don’t owe them anything.
