Didn't get much sleep last night for a number of reasons, up early. I am so tired that my eyes are hurting.
I have the luxury of not needing to be anywhere/do anything until 10.30 so thought I would try 30min nap. My head hit the pillow, my eyes closed, I was drifting away. Then it sounded like next door were hitting a saucepan with a wooden spoon. Right next to my bed. For ten minutes (and counting). I could cry.
I know that I'm lucky to have the time to nap. I know that the neighbours couldn't know how desperate I am or that I was trying to nap. But right now I feel fit for murder.
About to start mainlining caffeine to keep me going. Any other good suggestions (apart from getting decent sleep the night before)?
