When will the school your end for year 11?

I’ve just been reading that teacher assessed grades will need to be submitted by June 18th for GCSE’s.

Has anyone seen anything about when the term will actually end for year 11?

There doesn’t seem much point in staying on after the assessment date but they’ve missed so much school it almost seems wrong they should finish a month early.

June 18th for teacher dates? Fab. That gives my DD a chance (not accessing education due to MH issues).

I would imagine June 18th or June 11th. The official date is normally end June anyway, but they 'leave' after their last exam which is often ~20 June anyway.

it might be good if anyone not assessed at a 4 for maths & English gets a chance to stay on, though probably not practical.

I doubt schools will be saying anything official yet as they will need to work out how they are going to do things, and then the leavers date will 'fall out' of those deliberations.

That’s what the papers are saying this morning, a mixture of mock exams, course work, and assessments completed in school with teacher assessments enters by 18th June
