What a hideous article

It starts with saying the assumption is women ‘have the problem’. Whose assumption? And it’s a medical issue not a ‘problem’

Then goes to men ‘giving permission’ to their wives to leave them. As if women have to wait for that.

Finally it normalises aggressive behaviour where men ‘smash doors’ as a response to learning they’re infertile

It's in the Mail . Enough said. I don't even have to read it.

When a couple are struggling to conceive, we tend to assume the woman has problems.

Who is this we?

Shufflebudge · 24/02/2021 23:33

I know I know. I was a fool to read it

Misogyny is on the up, it has a lot of support.

The bit on decreasing sperm counts was interesting. Wonder why.

What I would agree with is that if you as a couple let it be known you had ivf then almost everyone assumes that the woman has fertility issues.
